Oasis at Allegiant Stadium: Las Vegas History and the 2027 Shows

The venue and its history

The Raiders relocation was approved in March 2017, by 31 votes to 1, according to Pollstar. Groundbreaking was on 13 November 2017, construction took about 31 months, and the reported cost was about 1.9 billion dollars. Substantial completion was on 31 July 2020.

The first event was the Raiders against the Saints, 34-24, on 21 September 2020, with no spectators. The first event with fans was UNLV against Nevada on 31 October 2020. A planned opening concert by Garth Brooks was postponed for COVID and played in 2021. The first concert is reported as Illenium Trilogy in July 2021, with the exact day Low confidence, so no day is published here.

The home teams are the Raiders and the UNLV Rebels, with the Las Vegas Bowl and the Vegas Kickoff Classic also listed on the official stadium site. The stadium hosted Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024, the first Super Bowl in Las Vegas. The official site names concert acts including Garth Brooks, the Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, Taylor Swift and BTS, and that list is published here only as the venue naming them, not as a full concert history.

Football capacity is 65,000, which matches site data. Concert and expanded capacity conflicts are unresolved: Pollstar gives 71,000, other sources give 71,835 expandable and 72,000. No 2027 concert capacity is published here until the promoter or venue confirms the configuration. Architecture details from secondary sources only, including an ETFE roof, a grass tray, a 92 foot Al Davis Memorial Torch, a 275 foot media mesh and ten levels, are not used here until confirmed from an official stadium or architect source. Planning names Raiders Stadium and Las Vegas Stadium are Low confidence and are not used as headline claims without a primary source.

Oasis at Allegiant Stadium

No Oasis performance at Allegiant Stadium before 2027 was verified in the archives checked, which included setlist.fm Las Vegas searches, the Oasis gigography, Ticketmaster 2025 and 2027 lists, and the official stadium concert-act list, which names no Oasis act.

Do not frame Allegiant as a historic Oasis venue. The 2027 run is a first at this venue on current evidence, a first in Las Vegas since 2008, and a first of the reunion era on the 2025 list checked. The 2025 North American dates on Ticketmaster were Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford and Pasadena, then Mexico City, with no Las Vegas or Allegiant date. No setlist, support act, gate time or attendance for 2027 is verified in this history pass.

Oasis in Las Vegas at other venues

Las Vegas Oasis shows before 2027 were all in rooms, and none of them was at Allegiant Stadium. The 11 April 2000 date is in direct conflict on venue name: gigography says The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel, while the Wikipedia tour table says House of Blues. Confidence is Low for venue and Medium for date and city, so this article publishes the date and city only, with the conflict stated, until a primary 2000 listing resolves it.

The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel hosted Oasis on 11 May 2001, as the Tour of Brotherly Love opener, co-headlined with The Black Crowes and Spacehog, and again on 26 April 2002, on the Heathen Chemistry Warm-Up Tour. House of Blues at Mandalay Bay hosted Oasis on 15 September 2005, on the Don't Believe the Truth tour, with Kasabian as support. That date and venue and support are High confidence, with Medium confidence for setlist order.

The Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms hosted Oasis on 6 December 2008, on the Dig Out Your Soul tour, with Ryan Adams and The Cardinals on the bill. Date, venue and tour are Medium confidence, but the setlist is unverified, because the setlist.fm page opened had no readable song titles, so no setlist is copied from another page. No attendance figures were sourced for any Las Vegas show, and no attendance is added from venue capacity. Hard Rock, House of Blues and Pearl current status, renaming, closure or redevelopment were not verified in the research pass.

• 11 April 2000: Las Vegas, venue name in conflict between sources, so no venue name is published here
• 11 May 2001: The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel, Tour of Brotherly Love opener, co-headline with The Black Crowes and Spacehog
• 26 April 2002: The Joint, Heathen Chemistry Warm-Up Tour
• 15 September 2005: House of Blues, Mandalay Bay, Don't Believe the Truth tour, support Kasabian
• 6 December 2008: Pearl Concert Theater at Palms, Dig Out Your Soul tour, Ryan Adams and The Cardinals on the bill

A Las Vegas thread, handled with care

Brandon Flowers of The Killers said, in a Guardian interview quoted by Virgin Radio UK, that he saw Oasis at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas in 2001 and that the crowd during Don't Look Back in Anger made him want guitars in his band. That is a second-hand quote, Medium confidence, because the Guardian text was not opened in the research pass, and a secondary snippet dating the story to 2002 conflicts and must not be used. This article does not claim Flowers formed The Killers at that show, and it does not claim Oasis simply caused the band.

A reported Oasis Sphere residency offer, from American Songwriter reporting a Sun report that Oasis turned it down, with neither Oasis nor Sphere publicly commenting, is Low and unverified. It is mentioned in the research notes only, and it is omitted from the published history, because it is not a cancelled concert and it must not be linked to Allegiant Stadium. The Garth Brooks Allegiant opening postponement was a venue event, not an Oasis cancellation.

Liam and Noel Gallagher solo in Las Vegas, separately

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds played The Joint on 22 May 2015. A ConcertArchives duplicate listing for 23 May 2015 is unverified, so two 2015 nights are not published here until that duplicate is resolved. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds played The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan on 9 March 2018. No verified standalone Liam Gallagher solo headline in Las Vegas was found in the research pass. That is a gap, not a confirmed none, so this article does not write that Liam never played Las Vegas solo. Beady Eye and other Gallagher projects were not systematically checked in the research pass.

Why the 2027 shows matter

Oasis play Allegiant Stadium on 20, 21 and 24 August 2027, three nights. The significance is scale plus return after a 19-year gap since 2008, and the fact that the venue did not exist in the original run. The verified pre-2027 Oasis story in this city is entirely intimate rooms with no prior stadium show in the city, then a first stadium-scale run at a venue that opened in 2020.

The stadium is in Paradise, Nevada, not Las Vegas city limits, while site data gives Las Vegas, NV as the postal and fan address. That distinction is kept in this article, with Paradise, Nevada for the municipality and Las Vegas, NV for the postal and fan location, and with America/Los_Angeles for event times in the site's own framing.

This history page does not set out a 2027 lineup, gate times, ticket prices or a concert capacity. Those details are covered separately once verified, and a concert capacity must come from the promoter or venue for the 2027 configuration.
